This outfits we are loving features navy and white stripes with a great ankle pant that shows off a pair of gladiator inspired sandals. Navy & White are classic, but the key to make this look updated instead of grandmaish is pairing a totally neutral shoe such as this taupe gladiator. Being to matchy matchy is exactly what can date a look and make you appear older. The key is to just add a little twist to make it feel fresh and updated. In case you haven't noticed, plaid is kind of king (or should I say queen) for fall. While we are a huge fan plaid for fall, we are not a huge fan of the head to toe plaid that looks like you are visiting from a lumber jack camp.
