How to Wear the Trend: Fun Bottoms

It seems like we are all really enjoying the nostalgia of the 80's and 90's at the moment. (OMGosh I LOVE the color and the embellishment coming back) It girls have been wearing High Waisted Pants for quite some time and frankly I wish they would stay that way as opposed to the LOW trend of the 2000's... But if you've been watching influencers it won't be long before we will starts to see the 10 inch rises go away again. So we all need to enjoy the high rise while it lasts.

While we always show off a couple of trends in the pant category at Boots & Heels (Paper Bag waists and Wide Leg pants featured right now) I PROMISE to always have our wonderful figure friendly 9inches in the front 13 in the back pants that sit at the flatter approx. inch-ish below your belly button. :)

But...it you haven't tried on the Paper Bag waist there is one out there for everyone.

The one above has a couple of little pleats in the front and a side pocket that tend to work best with a rectangle body shape (which is... like 75% of most of us)

Then still in a paper bag waist we have been showing this striped pant below that has just a different pocket that seems to make it easier for some of our "pear shaped ladies" or some friends that just have a little more "junk in their trunk" The way these pockets and stripes are situated also "down plays the hip a little bit which helps create the balance we all crave.

An Hour Glass Shaped Woman can nearly wear anything in the Paper Bag trend very easily as they accentuate the cinch at the waist.

Now, if you are more of an apple shape rather than a paper bag waist (Which you can try of course) but if you don't like it on you I would recommend trying out a wide leg pant. That will bring you balance between you top and bottom halfves.
